Counselling Psychology
I offer person-centred therapy in Exeter, Abbotskerwell and online. I nurture growth and understanding through evidence based approaches that I shape specifically around your personal narrative.
About

I am a chartered Counselling Psychologist, who offers person-centred support. Having spent some years working in the NHS, I moved to private practice because I wanted to be able to offer my clients a more hollistic and flexible approach.
I am now able to pull on different approaches and offer support that is unique to the client I am working with. Everyone has a different story, and understanding this is key to effective support.
I have worked with different client groups and conditions including neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma and individuals who have experienced sexual abuse.
I am accredited with the Health Care Professionals Council and registered with The British Psychological Society.
Therapeutic Approaches

EMDR Therapy
Processing traumatic memories and releasing emotional distress through guided eye movements.

ACT Therapy
Encouraging mindfulness and acceptance to help you live more fully in the present moment.

CFT Therapy
A supportive, non-directive approach focused on your unique journey and personal growth.

CBT Therapy
Identifying and changing negative thought patterns to improve your emotional well-being.

Empathetic & Flexible Care
Offering face to face sessions in Exeter and also offering online sessions, I provide a flexible, integrative approach to mental health. Sessions are completely confidential. My philosophy centers on creating a safe, empathetic space where resilience and healing can flourish through evidence-based practices tailored to your unique journey.
I know fitting therapy around life can be really difficult. Because of this, I offer early morning appointments.
Please reach out to arrange a free 15 minute phone consultation to see if we'd be a good fit.

I work in central Exeter and near Newton Abbot. I also offer online sessions.
Fees and Session Information
Sessions are 50 minutes long and cost £85. Online sessions cost £80. During the first session I will ask some questions to get a good understanding of your history and story. We will discuss different approaches and which may be suitable. Then map a plan that works for you. I appreciate therapy can be expensive. By identifying goals early, I hope our sessions are as productive as possible.
